Franz Schubert's sonata D 821 for arpeggione and piano is often heard on the viola, 'cello and double bass, but also on guitar or flute. Leonard Eröd's transcription aims to stay close to the urtext and is very challenging, maxing out the pitch range as well as the breath and finger technique of modern bassoon playing. An exemplary recording of this version can be found on David Seidel's CD „Bassoon and Piano“. PDF: 15€ stock number EB0201 |
