Edition Blumberg - EB0401

This arrangement of the famous song by Franz Schubert is splitting the vocal part onto the four players, giving to everyone a different actor of the story: narrator, father, son and earl king. The original lyrics are printed under the the staff in order to adapt the articulation and phrasing as close to the sung text as possible. The piano accompainment, which is played by the three other bassoons respectively, calls for a fast tonguing technique.
